MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – One person has died and more than a dozen others are injured after a shooting at a bar on the 200 block of West Seventh Street in St. Paul.
Filming begins just after midnight early Sunday morning.
A woman who police said was in her twenties has died. Fourteen other people were taken to hospitals in the region for treatment. All should survive.
Police said early Sunday that no suspects had been arrested.
Preliminary information gathered at the scene indicates that there were several shooters, although a motive remains to be determined.
“My heart breaks for the woman who was killed, her loved ones and everyone who was at this bar this morning,” said St. Paul’s Police Chief Todd Axtell. “In an instant, they found themselves in a hell of a situation. I want them to know that we have the best investigators in the country, and we won’t stop until we find those responsible for this madness. We will do our part to hold them accountable. “
This is a developing story.
