The National Agency of Medicines (ZVA) says that in June 2018, pharmaceutical wholesalers in Latvia sold 3.56 million drug packages for 36.34 million euros (VAT included). In terms of money, it is 7.6% higher than in May this year and 14.2% higher than in June of last year. The general type of pharmacies sold 308 million packets of drugs in June, or 30.89 million euros
The sale of 520 different names from the Latvian register of medicines, of which 249 refundable drugs, sold to the 39, foreigner was 14.91 million euros. 3% less than in May.
The average sales price of the seller for a package of medicines in June was 10.2 euros, including VAT. The biggest changes are seen in drugs in the price range above 100 Euros.
