New York-based lawyer calls for investigation of TI and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris, who are accused of sexual abuse and assault, The New York Times reports. The lawyer, Tyrone A. Blackburn, represents 11 people who said they were “victimized” by the Harrises or members of their entourage, according to The temperature. Blackburn reportedly sent letters requesting a criminal investigation to the U.S. District Attorney’s Offices in the Northern District of Georgia and Central District of California, the Los Angeles County District Attorney, and the State Attorneys General of California and Georgia.
The temperature spoke with five people who claim to have been drugged, raped or sexually assaulted by the Harrises or their associates. Reporters for The temperature also spoke with friends and family and reviewed photos and messages that supported the timing of events mentioned in the allegations.
Steve Sadow, a lawyer representing TI and Tiny, said The temperature that the Harrises “deny in the strongest possible terms these baseless and unwarranted allegations.”
In January, a woman named Sabrina Peterson brought up allegations of sexual abuse against TI and Tiny. Peterson also claimed that once in 2009 TI carried a gun to her head and threatened to kill her. The Harrises denied Peterson’s allegations and threatened legal action against her. According to The temperature, Blackburn, in his letters, does not mention the women whose stories Peterson shared on social media.
