Public health officials again warned travelers coming and going from the Los Angeles International Airport on the possible exposure to measles after another traveler contracted disease.

Travelers who were at the airport on April 3 might be at risk of contracting measles, which may be present up to 21 days after exposure, health officials said.

The person with measles crossed the door 70A of the terminal 7 between 10:00 and 12:30. That day. Between 7:00 pm and 10:40 pm, the individual visited B Grill by BOA Steakhouse Restaurant at Terminals 7 and 7 and Gate 81, Terminal 8.

There is no known risk in the areas at the moment, officials said.

For the third time in two months, public health officials warn travelers of possible exposure to measles at the airport, reports KTLA-TV, based in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles County Public Health Department said it was the fourth non-resident measles case in LA County that the department investigated this year.

"This underscores the importance for those who are not vaccinated against measles to be vaccinated against measles," said Los Angeles County Health Authority Muntu Davis in a statement.
