Since its release in 2017, Fortnite has grown into one of the most popular games in the world and is now in its 14th season.

Gaming has really set the standard and the formula for how free games should be and how they should monetize gambling.

Fortnite is currently in Chapter 2 of Season 4, which is a fully Marvel-themed season, with players like Iron Man, Wolverine, and Thor playable in the game.

Leak investigation

Leaker Fortnite MARDIt_ shared a survey they received from Epic Games, revealing a possible upcoming subscription model.

These surveys are typically sent out once per season to random players.

Polls typically ask questions about the various mechanics and features in the current season, as well as opinions on future things they could work on.

Subscription model

Part of the investigation asked about the possibility of a monthly subscription model that could come to Fortnite.

Earlier this year it was rumored that players would be able to pay off all years of Battle Passes and earn exclusive outfits for a one-time payment, it looks like they’ve ditched that idea now.

Instead, the monthly subscription could take its place.

The name intended for the subscription will be the Monthly Crew Pack.

The leaked image shows that the pack will include access to the current season’s Battle Pack, 1,000 V-Bucks, as well as exclusive skins and cosmetics like the Crew Ninja outfit.

Crew Ninja will also come with an additional style, Back Bling and a pickaxe.

During the investigation, he also asked if players wanted to include the ability to choose a free skin from the Item Shop each month.

Epic Games has also requested advice on subscription pricing, with prices ranging from $ 4.99 to $ 18.99.
