Agriculture Minister Ghazi Zuaiter received in his office at the ministry the Egyptian ambbadador to Lebanon, Nazih Al-Najari, who discussed bilateral relations and ways to develop them in the phase to come to achieve the interests of both parties.
As part of the implementation of the project "Strengthening and Strengthening of the Olive Oil Quality Chain in Lebanon" funded by the Italian Government represented by the Italian Agency of development cooperation and implemented by the International Center for Mediterranean Agronomic Studies – BARI) in cooperation with the Lebanese Ministry of Agriculture.
The Ministry of Agriculture intends to compile a list of national experts of the sensory taste of virgin olive oil in order to determine the national potential and of Publish this list to Lebanese experts in the field of tasting local, regional and international olive oil.
Experts of the taste of virgin olive oil wishing to join the list of experts mentioned above can fill it out and submit it to the Department of Agricultural Industries – Directorate of Rural Development and Natural Resources – General Directorate of Agriculture, Ministry of Agriculture, Beer Hbadan Safarat Street, 19659006]
