Direct : Import prices in Germany rose last month more than expected, and posted the fastest annual increase in 14 months.
Data released by the Federal Statistics Service on Friday show that import prices rose 0.5% in June on a monthly basis, against expectations of 0.3%.
On an annualized basis, import prices in Germany rose 4.8%, the fastest pace since April 2017, after 3.2% in May.
Prices of imports excluding petroleum products rose 1.9% from one year to the next.
