Environment Participates in the Regional Workshop for Emissions-Free Green Buildings Project

The Ministry of the Environment participated in the regional workshop on the final recommendations and successes of the project "Accelerating the Move to Emission-Free Buildings", held in Beirut, Lebanon, with the participation of several government, research and private sectors concerned with sustainable development. The Minister of the Environment said that participation in these activities came from the interest of Egypt in achieving the goals of sustainable development, integrating the environmental dimension into various areas of development and orient towards the creation of sustainable cities through a set of policies, programs and development procedures. The workshop stressed the need to develop existing buildings alongside modern buildings to increase the efficiency of their consumption of resources, including energy, reduce emissions, reduce pressure on resources, reduce the financial burden citizens and the state, Yasmine, that the Ministry of Environment coordinates with relevant authorities at national and regional levels to develop green areas by encouraging investment and providing the necessary equipment to provide technologies technologies and alternatives.
