The representative of Friends of Zeira and Sidon Beach Kamel Kasber told the Agence France-Presse that the purpose of the project is to provide a "sanctuary for divers and a plant for the reproduction of coral reefs" . This operation was carried out by the Civil Defense and a team of professional divers under the supervision of the army, after being delayed for several days, because of the height and the waves.
