A mosque in Beirut's capital Friday, for the first time in Lebanon, was translated into sign language for the deaf and dumb to understand and interact with the sermon.

The Imam of Hamza Sheikh Ghbadan Shawqi Mosque, The Association for Guidance and Reform of Charity, which oversees the mosque, decided to provide interpretation services for Friday sermon, from today, to become the first mosque in Lebanon to provide this service.

On the other hand, the head of the Association of Guidance and Reform of Charity, Jamal Mahio, that he made the decision with the Imam Hamza translation of the sermon mosque after the consensus with expert sign language, so that the deaf and dumb understand and interact with them. Imam Shawqi, expressed his hope that this service will continue in his mosque and will spread in all the mosques of Lebanon and the Islamic world
