Seniors in the area are encouraged to join the Seniors Welcome Group at noon Monday for a potluck lunch and fellowship to follow. Note that it’s not the first Monday of the month which is usually when they meet, but they will meet on that Monday due to Labor Day being last Monday.
The Welcome Legion will meet at 7:00 p.m. Monday at the Welcome Legion Hall. All members are invited to attend as well as all interested parties.
There will be a blood drive at the reception from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on October 18, at

Due to recent acts of vandalism, the washrooms at Hansen-Keck Park will be closed.
Circle of Faith Ward members are reminded that there will be a drive-through fellowship at Trinity Lutheran in Welcome and Waverly Lutheran north of Welcome from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sunday.
