Every automotive journalist has a mental list of new models that they would like to migrate to their home country. For many people living in North America, the Alpine A110 is at the top of the page. We did not have the A110 resurrected, which is a faithful return to the original model that had ceased production in 1977, leaving a subset of our staff a bit raw.

While the current A110 uses a 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder producing 247 hp and 236 lb-ft of torque, the new A110S goes up to 288 hp. Although the manufacturer did not touch the weight, he said that the tug will be available higher in the rev range of the car, between 2,000 and 6,400 rpm.
