Let's see what the old Eagles looked like during the first week of the 2019 NFL regular season

The Eagles finally managed to play their role in the second half of the week-1 match against Washington and were able to win. The team needs more things to get together at the start of the season, but I will start 1-0.

Things did not go as planned for the former Super Bowl MVP. In his first game as a franchise quarterback in Jacksonville, Foles had a broken left collarbone. To make matters worse, the injury occurred in the first quarter against the Chiefs.

It was after his first touchdown that Foles was put aside and reappeared from the locker room with his arm undone in a sling. He finished the day 5-of-8 for 75 yards and a score.

Foles was operated on Monday for the injury and was later added to the team's IR. At the earliest, he could return to the field in November, but this will of course depend on the state of his recovery.

A hard break for a good guy who finally got the chance to become the undeclared quarter and face of a franchise.

Other old Eagles shot jaguars

linebacker Najee Goode had a total of 3 tackles Sunday against Kansas City, and D.J. Alexander had 1 tackle on his side.

He was not a big offensive weapon for the Falcons, but turned out to be a brilliant point for the special teams, according to Kevin Knight of The Falcoholic:

Quick shots

• linebacker Jordan Hicks is back on the field and made an impressive 14 assists for the Cardinals against the Lions. Of course, the match ended on a tie, but the old Eagles, Hicks and Joe Walker – who had 5 tackles all by himself – contributed a lot to week 1.
• cornerback Daryl Worley had two tackles in the Raiders win over the Broncos. And on the other side, De'Vante Bausby had a tackle for Denver.
• Kiko Alonso was active for the Saints in the first week when he joined the team less than a week ago, but had not seen any playing time. New Orleans CB Patrick Robinson did not record a single tackle in what has become a talented and deep secondary group.
• Wide receiver DeAndre Carter had only one reception for Texans, and actually went back one meter.
• Mychal Kendricks made seven tackles and defended a Seattle pass Sunday against the Bengals. The linebacker is about to return to court before the 4th week. So he's still in Seattle's lineup.

Game of the week

Sean McCoy It was a surprise surprise by the Bills, but it was quickly recovered and reunited with Andy Reid in Kansas City. The half-offensive did not waste time and regained its form. In the first week against the Jaguars, he had 10 runs for 81 yards – including 31 km – and a 12-yard reception.

Injured and Inactive

• Tight end Trey Burton He missed the first game of the Bears regular season with a slight sprain in the groin – but we do not expect him to hold him back for long.
• Destined Vaeao signed with the Panthers in April, but did not play during the pre-season and was placed in the IR before the last cup of the 53-man team with an undisclosed injury.
• Steven MeansThe season was over early this summer when he suffered an injury to Achilles and was placed on the IR Falcons.
• Wide receiver Marcus Johnson was abandoned / injured by the Colts last week.
• linebacker B.J. Bello was raised by the Texans.
• Golden Tate missed the first of four suspension games and will not return to the Giants until the fifth week.
