Raleigh, North Carolina – We have recently seen some really encouraging COVID-19 numbers in our state – and it’s a trend we all want to see continue.
Vaccinations are an essential part of these positive measures.
So get caught up in some of the weekend immunization clinics going on today.
Nearly 1,500 people are expected to be vaccinated on Saturday at the PNC Arena in a drive-thru clinic by appointment only.
This will be the second mass vaccination event at PNC this week.
Thousands of people have already had their photos on Wednesday, but Thursday’s event has been canceled due to winter weather.
With today’s clinic, state officials say more than 4,300 people will have received the doses in the arena.
Indoor clinics on Saturday
Residents of Wake County also have the chance to get vaccinated at two indoor clinics on Saturday.
More than 500 people are expected to receive the dose at the Wake County Public Health Center.
And 700 more people will get it at the Wake County Commons Building.
Clinics are only by appointment.
