LYNCHBURG, Virginia (WSET) – Payless ShoeSource announced Friday that it will close all of its remaining 2,100 stores by the end of the year.
The store filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in April 2017, closing hundreds of stores.
The company said in an email that the liquidation would not affect its franchising business or its Latin American stores, which remain open as usual.

Some stores should remain open until May.
Rebates have already begun in most stores, so stocks will gradually decline.
Plus, if you have a gift card, it would be in your best interest to use it and use it now.
