The third season of "Jessica Jones" will be the last in the series, announced Netflix Monday. The company also announced that "The Punisher" would not be coming back for a third season.
"We thank Marvel for his five years of successful partnership and thank the passionate fans who have been following this series since the beginning," Netflix said in a statement.
Marvel Television is the television unit of Disney's Marvel Entertainment, which has produced some of the biggest blockbusters of 2018, including "Black Panther" and "Avengers: Infinity War."
"Our network partner may have decided that he no longer wanted to tell the story of these great characters … but you know Marvel better than that," Loeb said.
Loeb signed with a cyrptic "To follow", a gadget taken from the book of comic tales.
Leob did not respond to CNN Business's request to develop its letter.
Disney is also developing a series of Marvel live movies for Disney + featuring Tom Hiddleston as his "Thor" character, Loki.
