(WXYZ) – Several local COVID-19 vaccination clinics will be opening in Wayne County for the week of February 22, Wayne County Director Warren C. Evans said on Saturday.

“I am pleased that Wayne County is now in a position to begin immunizing seniors,” said Executive Evans. “I know everyone is anxious to get back to normal in safety. Our team is working hard to ensure that all of our residents can get vaccinated against COVID as quickly as the vaccine is available. Every resident vaccinated brings us closer to the end of the pandemic. “
