Samsung's flagship sales in the Baltic countries increased by almost 40%

Samsung announces that in the first half of this year, compared with the same period in 2017, sales of flagship phones – Galaxy S family phones – grew by 38% in the Baltic countries. Neither the Baltic States nor global unit sales volumes are disclosed, but global trends announced by IDC show a decline.

Global trends are not so favorable for the South Korean giant.Small market intelligence sales volumes for smart phones have not been counted for half a year.But IDC delivers the first quarter data this year that Samsung has brought good and bad news.

The good news is that the Koreans overtook Apple in January-March and took over the leadership.On last year, Apple sold more phones than Samsun g, but now everything seems to return to the normal routine – Samsung is dominated by three quarters, and Apple has clicked on the accelerator before the holidays.
