The new tariffs will be approved following the badessment of AB Lietuvos paštas' request for changes to internal universal postal service rates and taking into account the costs of providing this service. New tariffs will apply to consignments of small and large postal items in Lithuania.

It should be noted that some tariffs for national correspondence will increase, others will decline. The remaining charges for the universal postal service will remain unchanged, ie there are the same rates for national postal parcels, international mail and international postal parcels as well as the registration and registration services. Evaluation remain valid.

The universal postal service is the collection, sorting, transport and delivery of national and international postal parcels and quality parcels specified in the Postal Law of the Republic of Lithuania. The universal postal service provider – Lietuvos Paštas AB – is obliged to ensure the provision of such a service at an affordable price throughout the Lithuanian territory for all users wishing to benefit from such service.
