Starting July 19 Individual homeowners who have set up energy production units that produce renewable energy can ask for support. The Environmental Project Management Agency (APVA), Ministry of Environment, which announced the invitation, plans to allocate 3.3 million litas to payments.

Owners of single-family houses or one or two apartments (except unfinished garden buildings) with a maximum power of 10 kilowatts (kW) of solar or wind power generating electricity. Electricity will be used for their own needs

The owners who manufacture solar collectors or heat pumps for the production of hot water and heat (soil-water, air-water, air -air) will also be eligible for benefits. Support is also provided for the conversion of fossil fuel boilers (fuel oil, shale oil, natural gas, coal, peat) into biofuel boilers or heat pumps

For support, all these units generate power from the plant. renewable energy resources to install already after the completion of the construction of the house. In addition, subsidies for the conversion of fossil fuel boilers will be granted only if the costs were incurred at least five years after the construction of the house.

The maximum amount allocated to a project may not exceed EUR 14 500. You can deduct a specific amount from the spreadsheet in the project application form or view the table on this website. For example, a 5 kW solar plant can receive compensation of 1680 euros and a 10 kW plant with a capacity of 3360.

Only costs incurred from 2015 will be reimbursed. 1 January until the end of the project implementation period, but no later than 2019.
