A video by famous Instagram baker Eloise Head showing viewers how to bake Oreo cheese cookies from five ingredients has gone viral on social media.
The 26-year-old, founder of FitWaffle Kitchen, an Instagram page dedicated to decadent desserts that only take a few minutes to prepare, has garnered nearly 25,000 likes on the clip since it was shared on October 17.
In it, the self-taught London chef bakes a batch of indulgent cookies made with butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar, plain flour and a packet of iconic chocolate cookies.
Ms Head, who became an online celebrity when a baking craze swept the world in the first COVID lockdown, makes the cookies by hand without an electric mixer and says they’re easy enough for everyone to bake. even – even beginners in baking.

“ If you love Oreos you have to try them – you don’t even need eggs, ” she wrote in the caption.
To make the cookie dough, Mrs. Head whips 115 grams of unsalted butter with 115 grams of cream cheese until the texture becomes light and chewy.
Then she adds 200 grams of sugar followed by 120 grams of flour in thirds, stirring gently until everything is combined.
Next, Ms. Head mixes broken Oreos into the batter before letting the mixture sit in the fridge for about an hour.

200g granulated sugar
120g all-purpose flour
1. Whisk butter and cream cheese until the texture becomes light and fluffy.
2. Add the sugar followed by the flour in thirds, stirring gently until combined.
3. Toss the broken Oreos into the batter before letting the mixture sit in the refrigerator for about an hour.
4. Once the dough has hardened, pour about a teaspoon of the mixture onto a greased baking sheet.
5. Bake at 160 degrees Celsius for 10 to 12 minutes.

“It is now midnight where I am and I just finished eating. But now I think I want to make cookies, ”added another.

It’s the latest of Ms. Head’s simple recipes to go viral, following hugely popular videos of red velvet brownies and brownies stuffed with Nutella and Kinder chocolate.

Simple desserts have never been so popular since an unprecedented baking craze swept the world in the early months of the coronavirus crisis, when hundreds of millions of people were confined to their homes.
The isolation has paid off for influencers like Eloise Head, who garnered 743,000 followers on her two Instagram accounts by sharing delicious, quick and easy-to-prepare meals.
In March, Ms Head told Daily Mail Australia she was ‘very proud to help people stay busy’ in the new era of social distancing.
His fans were quick to express their gratitude in return.
“ Your page has really worked for me, I never thought I would learn to cook, ” one man wrote in the comments section last week.
“ I was a lost cause but while doing the lockdown I came across your page and the pastry helped me. ”
Nutella-Kinder Brownies Recipe
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
250g caster sugar
2 large eggs
125g milk chocolate
100g all-purpose flour
30g cocoa powder
1 teaspoon of salt
27 chocolate bars for children
150g of Nutella, melted
1. Whisk the melted butter with the powdered sugar, then add the eggs, whisking again until light and fluffy.
2. Add the melted milk chocolate followed by the flour, cocoa powder and salt, sifted through a sieve.
3. Once combined, place half of the mixture in a lined baking sheet.
4. Add a layer of Kinder Chocolate – 27 bars, spread whole – and Nutella that has been gently warmed in the microwave, then cover with the second half of the brownie mix.
5. Bake at 170 degrees Celsius for 20 to 25 minutes and cut into pieces when cool.
