Huh, who would have thought: Seth Rogen and Charlize Theron are the actors we never understood we needed in a romantic comedy.
In their next film Long Shot (which was originally titled FlarskySo, count on your blessings), Theron plays Charlotte, the Secretary of State who is preparing a campaign to become president, while Rogen plays the role of Fred Flarsky, journalist. It turns out that Charlotte had the habit of babysitting to Fred when they were younger, and a chance at a party brings them back together as adults. When does she hire him as a speechwriter for his campaign? Well, sparks fly.
The film is also reinforced by the comic presence of Randall Park as the boss of Fred, O. Shea Jackson Jr. as Fred BFF, June Diane Raphael as assistant to Charlotte and Alexander Skarsgard as than. . . Well, we do not know yet, but we can assume that it will play a great picture of Charlotte since it's a romantic comedy, after all.
