Lord of the Rings: Gollum, which will let you play through the history of Middle-earth’s most hapless hobbit, has been delayed until 2022. As part of the announcement of the delay, developer Daedalic Entertainment also announced its partnership with Nacon to publish the game.

In The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, players will be able to take control of Gollum as he searches for the One Ring. Much like in the movies and books, Gollum’s quest will involve a lot of climbing and stealth as he ventures through some of the most dangerous parts of Middle-earth. Players will have the chance to explore the softer side of Sméagol as well as the tougher, more obsessive Gollum, and they will even be able to push the hobbit to one side or the other.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will arrive on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows as soon as it’s ready for release in 2022.
