A day after being targeted in a college admissions investigation, actress Lori Loughlin was arrested as part of a ploy in which wealthy parents paid bribes so that their children are admitted to the best colleges.

Loughlin, who was apparently filming in Vancouver, Canada, when the clash took place on Tuesday, is expected to face charges related to the corruption scandal in the universities, involving wealthy people and celebrities who would have paid millions and defrauded to place their kids elite universities.
Federal law enforcement officials went to Loughlin's home in Los Angeles on Tuesday, when they discovered that she was out of the country, according to TMZ. According to a criminal complaint, she is accused of conspiracy to commit postal fraud and honesty with honest services.

The husband of Loughlin's fashion designer, Mossimo Giannulli, was arrested on the same charges and issued a $ 1 million bail on Tuesday.
Fellow Felicity Huffman, a candidate for the Academy's award, was also arrested at her home on Tuesday for alleged involvement in the project. She appeared in a federal court in Los Angeles on Tuesday, looking visibly tired, before depositing a $ 250,000 bail and returning her passport.
Loughlin and Giannulli charged with agreeing to pay $ 500,000 in bribes for their two daughters to be named crew members of the University of Southern California team, while no children did not participate in this sport.
