The personal assistant of President Donald Trump, Madeleine Westerhout, is no longer part of the administration since Thursday, according to reported information.
The 27-year-old resignation would have suddenly resigned after the president discovered that she was sharing details about the Trump family and Oval Office operations during a recent dinner with reporters in New Jersey, according to a New York Times report who cited two anonymous sources familiar with the departure. Politico confirmed later The exit.
Westerhout would have been considered a "separate employee" immediately after Trump became aware of his actions and would not be allowed to return to the White House on Friday, the Times reported.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the departure of the director of operations of the Oval Office. The Westerhout office had been sitting in front of the Oval Office since the first day of Trump's presidency, according to the Times.

Prior to her presidential door, Westerhout was assistant to the Chief of Staff of the Republican National Committee, Katie Walsh, ProPublica reported. At the same time, she appeared in the public sphere in 2016 as "Greeter" for important personalities visiting the President-elect of the Trump Tower. according to the Washington Post.
Previously, Westerhout had been a trainee for Mitt Romney's presidential campaign in 2012, had volunteered for Senator John Kuhn (R-S.C.) And had been interned for the then representative. John Campbell (R-Calif.), according to the Charleston Post and Courier.
