Maine CDC reports additional death from COVID-19, 350 new cases

AUGUSTA, Maine (WABI) – Another Mainer has died from COVID-19.

The additional death reported on Sunday is a man in his 60s from Hancock County.

The total number of deaths in Maine drops to 359.

The Maine CDC reports 350 new cases on Sunday.

The total number of cases stands at 25,592. 21,693 are confirmed.

As of Sunday morning, 190 people are currently hospitalized, 47 are in intensive care and 20 are on a ventilator.

According to the Maine CDC, the recovery numbers are not up to date, so we are no longer able to accurately report active cases. Instead, we provide you with a new case count for each county.

York County saw nearly 100 new cases overnight. They report 98 new cases on Sunday.

Cumberland County is reporting 57 new cases, while Penobscot County is reporting 50.
