The mainstream media have largely ignored the latest photos and videos of former President Barack Obama dancing without a mask in a crowded tent on his 60th birthday.
On Sunday, the New York Post published images of Obama dancing without a mask during his 60th birthday celebration on Saturday. Rapper Trap Beckham and manager TJ Chapman have confirmed the former president is on the dance floor in photos Beckham should have deleted, according to the Post.

Singer Erykah Badu also originally posted a video of her dancing next to Obama inside the tent, both without masks. However, the video was deleted from her account earlier the next morning.
Although these photos appeared early on Sunday morning, the image of the former president dancing without a mask in a crowded tent was ignored by Sunday morning news programs and aroused no outrage from leading experts medias.
Days before the party, the CDC designated several areas of Massachusetts, including Martha’s Vineyard, as an area with “high” community transmission for COVID-19.
Meanwhile, the images were posted on Twitter under the hashtags #MasklessObama and #ObamaVariant with several users denouncing the apparent hypocrisy.
Obama initially faced backlash last week for announcing plans to throw a 60th birthday party at his Martha’s Vineyard estate despite the increase in COVID cases due to the delta variant. After growing controversy, his office claimed the party would be “reduced” for close friends and family.
“Due to the new spread of the Delta Variant over the past week, President and Mrs. Obama have decided to drastically reduce the event to include only family and close friends. President Obama appreciates others send their birthday greetings from afar and look forward to seeing people soon, ”an Obama spokesperson said.

However, the drone footage of massive tents seemed to contradict this message. Famous guests also included Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Steven Spielberg, Bradley Cooper, Don Cheadle, Steven Colbert, Bruce Springsteen, and Tom and Rita Hanks.
According to reports from a local Massachusetts police officer, the fleet of taxis and SUVs leaving the site has caused a “first show” of traffic problems in the surrounding city.
