Netflix has a new enlightened international series and this time is a Mexican fiction, which will be produced by Salma Hayek. The streaming giant has given a series order to the show titled Monarca. Monarca is portrayed as a high-stakes multigenerational family saga over a Mexican-born business empire that ensues when a family member decides to fight the dirty system that his family helped to create. Created by Diego Gutierrez and the show was written by Fernando Rovzar, Julia Denis, Sofia Clerici Ana and Sandra Garcia Velten. Michael McDonald of Stearns Castle will serve as producer.
