The biggest snobs of 2018 Primetime Emmy nominations

[ad_1]

The field of Emmy 2018 nominations was pretty standard in many ways, with a lot of nominees expected and deserved of the year entering the fray. But, as is the case whenever nominations are announced, a large number of interesting shows and actors have finally been removed from the list, much to the chagrin of many. Among those who were left out of the polls, there were famous performances of otherwise nominated shows, a very flagrant absence and other series taunts that continue to meet the cold shoulder. These are the choices of CinemaBlend

The tracks of Game of Thrones are missing

While Game of Thrones cleaned up in terms of overall appointments, its main players did not encounter similar fortunes. Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington were both left out, despite performances that proved that they had believed in the most memorable moments of season 7. Whether it was Clarke's Daenerys watching his beloved dragon killed , or Jon Snow of Harington fighting a swarm of White Walkers, they sold all the fantastic moments with as much credibility as possible. So, how did the Emmys miss this?

Counterpart And Simmons JK Got Robbed

The drama race of each year might be the tightest, but 2018 was already starting to look like an infallible lock for Starz's drama Counterpart to make Emmys noise. But despite an infinitely interesting central concept, staged by careful writing, the sinister chaos of Justin Marks has not been recognized by TV Academy. What could have been forgiven was the star of the series J.K. Simmons was recognized for his supernatural talents in the dual role of Howard Stark, but Simmons was also denied. I bet he would have been named in the Prime Earth Emmys, though.
