MAHB is co-designer of a proof of concept on the digital automation process for an international airport in Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur, July 17 – Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) today signed memoranda of understanding with four major aeronautical players from France and Switzerland at the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) offering to position Malaysia in as a global hub.

In a statement, the airport operator said that the four partnership agreements had been signed with the French aircraft manufacturer Daher, the aeronautical service provider Zurich ExecuJet, the group IER Group (French subsidiary of Bolloré Group) and Sigfox and its partner, Malaysian IoT network operator XPeranti

Azli Mohamed, strategic director of MAHB, who attended the document exchange ceremony, stated that the company aimed to offer the best experience to the passengers of the time. "We are embarking on the digital transformation process of Airports 4.0 and the collaborations of today are timely," he said, adding that the partnership with IER and XPeranti / Sigfox was going to kick-start a service creation framework that would result in improved, automated and digitized services.

MAHB is co-designer of a proof of concept on the process of digital automation for an international airport in Malaysia with unique profiling of passengers and destinations, which can lead to the development of a common intellectual property.

XPeranti, soon to be a national IoT network operator (by October), implement Sigfox IoT solutions to ensure MAHB operational excellence.

Meanwhile, Daher and ExecuJet would be part of the Subang Airport Regeneration initiative, said Azli
