LOS ANGELES, July 21 – 85-year-old singer-songwriter out My Way this fall
This album covers standards and classics famous by Sinatra, accompanied by arrangements of strings and horn. The 11-track album (produced by Buddy Cannon and Matt Rollings, with the help of Norah Jones on the track was released on September 14, and is in the spirit of Nelson's 1978 album Stardust .
Nelson and Sinatra were close friends and mutual admirers of each other's work.In the 1980s, the pair played on the same bill at the Las Vegas Golden Nugget and appeared together in a public service announcement for the NASA Space Foundation.
Nelson, who canceled a few concerts in February road towards the end of this year.
