Virgin Voyages, the cruise company launched by Virgin Group founder Sir Richard Branson, has released the renditions of their new cruise ship, the Scarlet Lady, and they are quite remarkable. The brand's design concept is "The Modern Romance of Sailing", and it presents both interiors and exteriors imagined by a handful of some of the most successful design companies in the world.
The Lady Scarlet will be geared towards adults because an age requirement of 18 will be required to board.
London's Tom Dixon Design Studio, New York's Roman and Williams, and Concrete Amsterdam are just some of the groups with which Virgin Voyages has partnered to create the unique beauty of the ship.
"Our design partners and internal design team have created attractive, intimate and appealing spaces that we can not wait to see," said Tom McAlpin, President and CEO of Virgin Travel, in a statement to Business Insider.
There is an elegant private outdoor lounge called Richard's Roof-deck, which is exclusive to the guests of the ship's suite. The most common outdoor relaxation area for the rest of the ship's passengers is called The Dock, which allows you to sunbathe during the day and observe the stars at night.
Inside the ship, there are two main restaurants. The pink agave will serve delicious Mexican cuisine in a modern upscale setting with hanging blue lamps and curved coffee tables. In terms of fitness and relaxation, the ship has an outdoor athletic club that includes punching bags and a running track, and an indoor gym that features stationary bikes, group fitness classes and yoga. Then there is Redemption, the exclusive thermal spa of the ship that has a hydrotherapy pool, a mud room, a salt room, water ponds, and a spa. cold water, quartz beds and other spa treatments. The name of the Scarlet Woman is a two-pronged choice for Virgin Travel. On one side, the name is inspired by one of the first Virgin Atlantic Airways planes.
