Lil Tay, 11, became famous when she posted videos of her showing money and jewelry in expensive homes. It turns out that his mother was a real estate agent (who was later fired), which allowed Tay's brother to direct the videos and post them on social media to make her viral.

Earlier this week, an anonymous person claiming to be close to the child claimed Tay had been forced to live with his "violent" father, Christopher John Hope, who was looking for money. There was also a downloaded video of Tay allegedly confronting this man by phone, claiming that he had never been a good parent and wanted nothing to do with it until his new fame.
A source close to the situation claimed that Christopher was not really abusive and he asked for custody because he did not want his daughter to behave inappropriately and miss school.
Christopher John Hope revealed to The Blast that he was receiving death threats after the posts were posted.
He then spoke exclusively to Hollywood Life about the shocking situation: "When my daughter's social media started becoming viral this year, I disagreed with most social media activities. I took legal steps to put an end to acts that, in my opinion, were dangerous to his physical and mental health as well as to his future. I do not think that a 10 year old girl should be put into these situations and forced to drop out of school to be able to make money for other people. "
Regarding Tay's future in the spotlight, the concerned parent explained, "My daughter wants to continue playing and singing, and I support her 100% in the pursuit of her dreams. I think she got bad advice on a lot of things at the beginning of the year and that different people were driving her in the wrong direction. "
