Following her separation with ex-fiancé Pete Davidson, Ariana Grande seems to channel her feelings on her music, telling fans on Saturday that a new song and a new album are on the way.
The singer, 25, revealed that the the song would come first but both would share the same title: "Thanks, next door" – the same words that Grande seemed to have had on Davidson Thursday after joking about their relationship Saturday Night Live promo.
In the series clip, the 24-year-old comedian – who became engaged with Grande after a month-long romance – referred indirectly to Grande when he introduced himself to musical guest Maggie Rogers and proposed to do so jokingly. Rogers, 24, quickly declined, and Davidson responded by saying that he was "0-3", alluding to his failed relationships.
After posting the video, Grande tweeted, "For someone who claims to hate relevance, you'll love to hang on to it, huh." She continued with another reading that said, "Thank you, then.
Grande quickly deleted her tweets, but that did not stop her from repeatedly using the words "Thank U, next".
On Friday, she added the word "following" to the photo of a thank-you balloon on her Instagram account. The same day, she repeats the sentence in a series of tweets that could be lyrics of the aforementioned song.
"Because look what I found … no need to search and for that I say … thank you, then, she wrote. "I had so much love … I had so much patience … I learned of the pain …." and turn amazon …. let's say I loved and lost … but that's not what I saw because look what I have … look what you've learned / and for that I say ……. thanks to you then.
And on Saturday, she got things done by sharing the picture of a piece titled "Thank u, next" via her Instagram and Twitter stories.
She also explained that the song will be the last on an upcoming album and that there will be no intro on the LP.
"No dragees … no shadows … just love, gratitude, acceptance, honesty, forgiveness … and growth," she wrote about the record.
"I will continue to create and put things as I please she added. "It feels good to my soul and I like to keep the kids fed."
The last album of Grande, Sweetener, was released August 17 and contains a title called "Pete Davidson".
Before Thursday, relations between Grande and Davidson seemed very civil.
The two men called the resignation in October after being betrothed in June. "It was way too much and too early," said a big source People at the time. "It's not shocking to anyone."
Sources close to the couple told TMZ that the decision to separate was a mutual choice, as the pop star and Davidson felt the timing was wrong.
Meanwhile, Grande said in October that she relied on music to help her through difficult months.

Just a week after canceling her engagement, the singer "No Tears Left to Cry" said that she was working on new music.
"It repairs everything", Grande tweeted after a fan congratulated his passion for music.
Music is not the only way to help the pop star through a difficult time. Piggy Smallz – the big pet pig adopted with Davidson – has also brought joy to his life.
"The absolute love of my life" she wrote on Twitter, in reference to his little companion. "I have no idea what I've done to deserve it."
