AmInvestment improves the technology sector in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR (July 9): AmInvestment Bank Bhd outperformed the Malaysian technology sector by overweighting neutrality. AmInvestment said today that the outlook for the sector is positive in the second half of 2018 (2:18).

In a note today, AmInvestment said the earnings outlook is positive for local semiconductor companies. Around connected cars, smart homes and automation, manufacturers of sensor and radio frequency (RF) chips, automated equipment manufacturers and companies seeking to improve their operational efficiency through the 39, automation have a positive outlook. AmInvestment said its best choices for the sector are Inari Amertron Bhd and Malaysian Pacific Industries Bhd (MPI).
