PETALING JAYA: PKR Datuk Seri advisor Anwar Ibrahim underwent spinal surgery in Turkey and will undergo another operation on his right shoulder on Thursday 12 July.

In a statement posted on his Facebook page, Anwar said that he decided to proceed with the operation as part of his recovery for his condition.

He said that he had lumbar central stenosis, where the spinal canal narrowed, causing pain and numbness.
