As if BTS couldn’t get any cuter – or more successful (They can. They totally can).

The Kpop superstars are currently embarking on a world tour, released three albums, broke countless records and won countless international awards – the latest of which is best international group and best social star at R1 Teen Awards.

That’s just this year.

The band has an enormous global following, with fans in every corner of the world proudly calling themselves members of the ARMY.

Recently released footage by BigHit Entertainment shows BTS preparing for their extraordinary speech at the United Nations, where band member Suga took the opportunity to praise their loyal fans.

The boys attended the 73rd UN General Assembly in September where leader RM delivered a speech about UNICEF’s new Generation Unlimited initiative.

The charity invited the boys after they worked together in 2017 to create the Love Myself campaign, which is working towards ending violence against children all around the world.

While talking about what they would say in the speech, Suga praised fans for their passion and support, reports Soompi.

‘Honestly,’ he began. ‘We’re always doing things and talking about things, but that itself doesn’t help people all that much.

‘I don’t think our acting alone is a big help to others. I think what’s really amazing is the fact that the people who like us and support us are taking up [the cause] in that way.’

And he’s stuck it to the haters, too.

‘They [fans] are often belittled for being idol fans,’ he added. ‘But they’re actually extraordinary people.

‘Honestly…it’s not easy to do such things just because you like someone.’

Leader RM got involved in the conversation, too: ‘[Our fans] are the ones who established the seven of us as spokespeople and took us all the way to the United Nations.’

‘We’re merely speaking on their behalf.’

Needless to say, the ARMY couldn’t contain their love.

One wrote: ‘Stan a group who stans you.’

Another fan gushed: ‘A lot people have an idea of Yoongi being savage and rude, but they never really paid attention to how incredible he is.

‘He understands us, he speaks up not only to defend us but also to inspire.

‘He’s much more than a lil meaw, he is amazing and I wish more people could see it.’

Fans were delighted to discover that BTS signed a new seven-year contract with Big Hit Entertainment. BTS ARMYs created the hashtag #7MoreYearsOfBTS and it got hundreds of thousands of tweets and trended worldwide.
