This year's Bib Gourmand list in the Singapore edition of The Guide Michelin presents 50 hawkers booths and restaurants, up from 38 last year.
The list highlights restaurants that offer value and quality meals for no more than $ 45.
Some of the newcomers – including Sik Bao Sin Restaurant, Braised Chuan Kee Duck, Traditional Henna Curry and Coconut Club, known for its nasi lemak, have been recommended by ST's foodies over the years.

VIDEOS OF OLD SPANISH RECIPES
The National Library Spain, which has a collection of 23,000 orks dating back to the 15th century, has released a new video series with a dozen old recipes that have been adapted by contemporary leaders.
Videos include expert commentary and chefs to explain the history and context of each dish, as well as notes on how modern cooks can inspire ancient ways to prepare the food. The videos have English subtitles.
