How did Meghan Markle subtly wear basic items

Meghan mastered the art of wardrobe basics during her royal tour: she has subtly worn key items again and again.

The 37-year-old Duchess of Sussex has worn Tabitha Simmons's 'Millie' heels worth £ 566, with three outfits to date in Australia and Fiji, both classic and casual.

She has also worn her £ 1,287 trench coat from Australian designer Martin Grant twice in Sydney and Melbourne, paying tribute to the country with her choice of outerwear.

Meghan – who is expecting her first child in the spring – also re-wore her Castaner canvas sneakers, to £ 80 in Fiji, after wearing them during a visit to Bondi Beach in Sydney last Friday.

Meanwhile, the Duchess has been out three times with her Outland Denim jeans, having been exhausted the first time she's brought her to Dubbo, NSW, last week.

Prior to the royal tour, she had already worn many of her essentials, proving how much she mixed items from her own wardrobe with new clothes.

Lucas Armitage, artistic director of Posied London, told FEMAIL: "Even though Meghan's wardrobe is extremely busy, she is not afraid of being economical and reusing her staples.

"It's probably for practical and logistical reasons when traveling.

'Meghan demonstrates that a good pair of shoes has many uses – take it in Tabitha Simmons's black suspenders. With her Martin Grant Trench, she shows that a stylish item is never outdated. "

He added that the wardrobe of the Meghan Royal Tour could be a source of inspiration for others while traveling.

"I have personally seen so many women packing during their travels, so it's a pleasure to see Meghan install a concise and versatile capsule wardrobe during her first royal tour," he said.

Meghan was wearing for the first time her British brand Tabitha Simmons 'high heel shoes with Emilia Wickstead' s black collar dress for the opening of Anzac Memorial in Sydney on Saturday.

She kept the same shoes after switching to a more casual blazer and jeans set for the Invictus Games Driving Challenge, before wearing them again when she arrived in Fiji.

The duchess seems to want to rotate her shoes. She also wears her legendary stiletto heels of £ 360 Stuart Weitzman: the first day of the royal tour in Sydney and again at the Opening Ceremony of the Invictus Games on Saturday night.

She first wore bare heels during a day of engagement in Sussex with Harry earlier this month.

Meghan also wore her Sarah Flint sandals Sarah Flint, priced at £ 277, with two different outfits while on Fraser Island after wearing them at a polo match earlier this year.

In addition to his Martin Grant trench coat, Meghan also wore his £ 140 Outland Denim Harriet jeans – in Dubbo, at the Prime Minister's reception in Sydney and during his trip to Fiji.

The Duchess once again wore several items she had seen in the past, including her J. Crew linen shirt, Misha Nonoo skirt, Aquazzura Deneuve Bow shoes and Orton "Avalon" zippered shoulder bag.

She also recycled her cape-back Stella McCartney dress, after wearing it during the Queen's 92nd birthday celebrations in April.
