PETALING JAYA: Kumpulan Jetson Bhd plans to make a joint bid for solar energy projects in Sabah with Helios Photovoltaic Sdn Bhd.
Helios is primarily engaged in trading as resellers of solar energy products, providing services to provide solar energy solutions, maintenance and solar monitoring system.
Kumpulan Jetson told the stock exchange that the parties had entered into a cooperation agreement in order to obtain the contract and to jointly execute the proposed projects.
Once the contracts are successfully awarded, the parties will form a 50:50 special vehicle to undertake the projects with a view to concluding a definitive agreement.
The Convention will remain in force until the signing of the final agreement; or terminated by either party by giving the other party three months written notice, whichever is sooner, he added.
The stock price of Kumpulan Jetson fell 2.17% or half a sen to 22.5 sen today with 233,700 shares traded.
