LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Michael Jackson's "Bad" black jacket, which the singer wore on her first solo tour, will go up for auction in November and could reach $ 100,000.

Julien's Auctions said on Friday that the jacket, which Jackson had signed on the back with a permanent silver marker, was worn during the singer's "Bad" concert tour from 1987 to 1989.
The jacket, with multiple zippers, straps and buckles, is one of the most iconic costume pieces of the late singer alongside his musical red and black leather video jacket "Thriller" sold 1.8 million dollars auctioned in 2011.
Jackson has become one of the most collectible celebrities since his sudden death in Los Angeles at the age of 50, in 2009, following an accidental overdose of anesthetic that 39, he used as a sleeping pill.
The "Bad" jacket is sold by Texas businessman and philanthropist Milton Verret, along with nearly 100 other items from his large collection of rock 'n roll memorabilia.
Verret also owns the "Thriller" jacket that he takes to children's hospitals, but does not auction it.
The November 10 auction at Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square, New York, will also feature electric guitars played by Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton and members of U2 The Edge and Bono. The different guitars should bring in between $ 20,000 and $ 50,000 each.
A portion of the proceeds will go to Music Academy, a charity organization of Grammy Awards organizers, the Recording Academy, which provides health and other services to musicians.
"It's hard for musicians and artists today and this auction offers a new opportunity to give back to the music community," Verret said in a statement.
