BILBAO, Oct. 20 – The MTV Europe Music Awards have announced the nomination of several artists who will perform on stage at this year's EMAs. They do not lack talent: Nicki Minaj, Halsey and Janet Jackson are ready to go on the stage.

There will also be Spanish singer Rosalía, whose album El mal querer falls a few days before the ceremony and who, with Halsey, will debut on the EMA scene.

Minaj, meanwhile, appeared for the last time at the EMAs in 2014, when she hosted the show and performed a medley of songs including Anaconda and Super Bass.

Janet Jackson will appear as the winner of this year's Global Icon in addition to giving a performance, while the host of the ceremony, Hailee Steinfeld, is also on the list of artists.

The organizers also revealed that Narcos: Mexico Co-stars Michael Peña and Diego Luna are invited to present prizes.

The MTV EMA ceremony will be broadcast live from Bilbao on Sunday 4 November at 21:00 Paris time.

The nominees were announced earlier this month, with Camila Cabello leading with six nominations. Ariana Grande and Post Malone followed with five, while Drake and Dua Lipa each earned four nods.

The vote is open until 3 November at www.mtvema.com/vote. – AFP-Relaxnews
