TRAVERSE CITY, MI – Winner of the Multi-Grammy Award Sheryl Crow loves cherries. So much so that when they show up behind the scenes on tour, she feels "spoiled".

"I'm a big fan of cherries, fo" sho ", she says.

The Missouri native is also a big fan of Michigan, a country she's played many times over her more than 20-year career, including memorable shows at Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids.

That's why she is thrilled to come back as part of the National Cherry Festival ] where she will feel completely spoiled with cherries all around.

In fact, we told her about the spit peach contest

"Oh wow, happy to know," she said recently. "I'd better warm up so that I can be prepared."

This simple, down-to-earth character – with many hit songs, platinum albums, and successful tours – has made Crow a name of the home.

His nine studio albums have sold 35 million copies worldwide; seven of them figured in the Top 10 and five were certified for multi-platinum sales.

Her # 1 hits include "All I Wanna Do" and "Soak Up the Sun", two songs that fans will love when she brings her blockbuster tour to Open Space Park and the West Arm of the Bay of Grand Traverse

"All I Wanna Do," a song from his 1994 debut album "Tuesday Night Music Club," turned out to be the song that helped

Crow said that she did not think it would make the album.

"I've always had the impression of being on hand," she says. "And it's the song that broke the record, that's why I do not choose my own singles."

The song is now about to celebrate 25 years. She knows the nostalgia that she brings to the fans.

"You hope throughout your career that you will have a song that will have the power to evoke memories and places for people," she said

. There are a lot of memories, because fans will be entitled to his greatest hits, as well as songs from his latest album "Be Myself", which deals with "heavy topics".

"It's still a fun and fun album to play," said Crow, who is touring with a band that has been with her for 5 years.

"They are just fantastic players … they will be ready to turn it off."

Plus, it's "We can not wait to be up there, we have so many good memories (in Michigan), "she said.

"There's no better time to come here than in summer, my band is just as excited and we're having fun."

Before you go, do not be surprised if you see the singer on the festival market, who sells a Cherry Pie Bliz zard. It's made with vanilla ice cream, and they put in a piece of cake.

"Oh, so that's a cherry pie in a cup," says Crow

"I will not leave without those."
