Man caught with gas cans at the New York Church

A man was arrested after trying to carry two gas cans, a charcoal lighter and two lighters in Manhattan's St. Patrick's Cathedral on Wednesday night, police said. The suspect is believed to be a resident of Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey, 37, likely to be emotionally disturbed. NYPD deputy commissioner John Miller said the man claimed he had gone through the church with a pair of two gallon cans because his car was out of gas. The man was not charged immediately and should undergo a psychiatric assessment, WABC reported.
