KINLOCK, Pa .– Three people were injured and one arrested after gunshots rang out around 6 p.m. inside the Kinloch Fire Hall during an event.

Lower Burrell Police responded to an emergency call for an active shooter at the scene. When police arrived at the scene, the gunman was leaving the building and was arrested without incident.

He has been identified as Arnold’s 25-year-old Isiah Hampton, who is the future father of the child the baby shower was planned for.

The three injured people were transported to hospitals in the area. Two of them were rushed to Allegheny County General Hospital and one to Forbes Hospital in Monroeville.

The victims of the shooting have been identified as a 23-year-old man, a 19-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy. None of their injuries are life threatening. One was unintentionally shot as others attempted to take the gun from Hampton, police said.

The shooting happened at a baby shower after a family feud got out of hand at the Lower Burrell Fire Station. Police said the suspect pulled out a 9mm handgun and shot all three people in front of a crowd of 30 during the baby shower for his unborn baby.

According to the criminal complaint, the argument concerned the transport of gifts.

This remains an active investigation, police said.

Hampton has been charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment – and is being held at Westmoreland County Jail, unable to post $ 250,000 bail.

Police call it an isolated family incident. Hampton is due in court for his preliminary hearing on September 28.
