Man killed, woman injured in vehicle rollover accident, Pitcairn shooting – WPXI

PITCAIRN, Pa .– A man was killed and a woman is in critical condition after being involved in a shootout and vehicle rollover in Pitcairn on Saturday afternoon.

The incident took place in the 300 block of 3rd Street at around 1 p.m., when police were notified of a vehicle overturn and the sound of gunfire.

When first responders arrived, they discovered a single vehicle accident in which the passenger, an adult male, had died of gunshot wounds. The driver, an adult female, sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

Allegheny County Police Department Homicide Unit responded and is investigating.
