Long Beach – A 35-year-old man was shot dead in a gang-related attack in Long Beach, police said on Saturday.

According to Long Beach Police, the shooting took place near the intersection of 14th Avenue and Olive Avenue at around 11:25 p.m. Friday.

Police said the corresponding police officer found a man with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper and lower body, lying in the street.

Police said he was identified as Tony Chamlowun in Long Beach. The emergency services declared him dead on the spot.

Police reported that Chamlown was standing near his residence when he was killed. The detective learned that the gunman left the dark sedan and shot Chamlowun, and fled.

The police did not immediately receive any suspicious information.
