A man whose family believed died from a COVID-19 vaccine actually died of heart disease, an autopsy has revealed.
Tim Zook, 60, of Orange, Calif., Died on January 9, four days after receiving the second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine.
At the time, his wife, Rochelle, hinted at the Orange County registry that her husband’s death had something to do with the vaccine.
However, an Orange County Coroner’s autopsy report released Wednesday confirmed that Zook, an X-ray technician, died of cardiovascular disease leading to heart failure.

Zook’s official cause of death was listed as “hypertensive and atherotic heart disease with severe cardiomegaly and heart failure,” the OC registry reported.
This means he had a buildup of plaque in his coronary arteries and heart problems caused by high blood pressure.
Additionally, Zook’s heart has been described as dilated, greatly enlarged, and thicker than normal.
The report mentions that COVID-19 vaccines played a role in his death.
When he received his second injection on January 5, Zook posted pictures of a bandage on his arm and a picture of his vaccination record.
“I’ve never been so excited to have a photo before. I am now fully vaccinated after receiving my 2nd dose of Pfizer, ”he wrote on his Facebook page.
Rochelle said her husband “believed in vaccines” and was “sure he would take this vaccine again, and he wanted the public to take it,” according to the OC registry.
His condition would have started to degenerate the day after his vaccination, according to his wife.
“When someone has symptoms 2.5 hours after a vaccine, it’s a reaction,” she told the newspaper.
‘What else could have happened? We would like the public to know what happened to Tim, so that he did not die in vain.
“Severe reactions are rare. In reality, COVID is a much more lethal force than the reactions of the potential vaccine itself.
She continued, “The message is, be careful, take the vaccine – but officials need to do more research.
“We have to know the cause. Vaccines should be as safe as possible. Every life counts.
Rochelle also said she did not want to blame Pfizer or any other pharmaceutical company for her husband’s death.
“Our immediate thoughts are with the bereaved family,” Pfizer told Fox News in January.
“We are closely monitoring all of these events and collecting relevant information to share with global regulatory authorities. Based on ongoing safety reviews by Pfizer, BioNTech, and health authorities, BNT162b2 maintains a positive benefit-risk profile for the prevention of COVID-19 infections.
“Serious adverse events, including deaths that are unrelated to the vaccine, are unfortunately likely to occur at a rate similar to that of the general population.”
Zook was a radiology technician who worked at the South Coast Global Medical Center in Santa Ana, California.
His death has been placed under investigation by the Orange County Coroner’s Office to determine the true cause of death.
The coroner’s office determined that heart disease was the real cause of Zook’s death.
The Pfizer vaccine was the first to receive emergency use authorization from the United States Food and Drug Administration in mid-December.
It is the most commonly used vaccine in the United States so far, having been administered over 186 million times.
The vaccine has been found to be safe and effective by the FDA and health experts around the world, although there were some negative side effects.
Myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart, has been seen in a small percentage of young men who received the vaccine.
In total, 56% of Americans have received at least one injection of any COVID-19 vaccine, and 48% of people are fully vaccinated.
