The Premier League champions, however, have expressed concern over reports that investigators would insist on a UEFA Champions League ban before any official declaration by the EU's governing body.
UEFA has opened an investigation into allegations of financial irregularities in the club at the beginning of the year.
In a statement from City, it reads: "Manchester City FC cooperates fully, in good faith, with the ongoing investigation of the CFCB IC (the training chamber of the body of financial control of the club).

"The New York Times report quoting" people familiar with the case "is therefore extremely worrying.
"The implications are that Manchester City's good faith towards the CFCB CI is misplaced or that the CFCB CI process is misrepresented by individuals concerned about harming the reputation and business interests of the club."
City was fined £ 49 million and restrictions on transfer costs and the size of its Champions League membership after the FFP violations were first considered in 2014.
However, UEFA has opened a new investigation after new allegations concerning the same period initially examined had been formulated in the German publication Der Spiegel last year.
City has denied any wrongdoing.
The statement adds: "The accounts published by Manchester City are complete and subject to a legal and regulatory review.The charges of financial irregularities are totally false and full proof of this fact has been provided to the CFCB IC."
"We do not comment on ongoing investigations concerning financial fair play," said UEFA in a statement: "We do not comment."
