Martha Stewart is the queen of many things – TV, home, cooking, and CBD – well, it’s time to add skin care to the list. The entrepreneur is sort of 79, but she still looks fabulous – if you need a refresher, check out her pool selfie last year. So when Stewart recommends a skin care product, we listen.
Lucky for us, she spilled the beans on her entire routine, but we wanted to call one of the most crucial parts of it: her SPF. It prevents skin cancer, inflammation of the skin and premature aging. All these reasons are enough for me to apply a coat to my face in the morning and renew it several times a day, as the SPF only lasts for a specific time, depending on the option you choose.

Stewart goes for the SkinCeuticals Physical Fusion UV Defense SPF 50. The SPF 50 might seem a little high, but you want to block out as much UVA and UVB rays as possible. According to Martha Stewart’s website, Stewart doesn’t apply sunscreen until she’s about to step out, which makes sense, as the SPF wears off.
She also appreciates the lightness of the formula and its shade. You won’t get that white cast when you apply this sunscreen. It will work to match almost any skin tone, thanks to the iron oxide in the formula which uses color matching technology. Sunscreen will even give you a bit of that on-trend glow, which we can all use a bit more of.

The sunscreen manages to walk a tightrope of having a powerful protective formula while still feeling so light that you will hardly notice you are wearing it. It’s available from Dermstore and Amazon also offers an SPF 30 version (although it appears to be low at the moment).
